Guided Walk to the Summit of Snowdon

At 1,085 meters (3,560 feet) above sea level, Snowdon has the highest summit in all of England and Wales. It's understandable then that reaching the summit of Snowdon is for many a bucket-list ambition. The views are, after all, simply majestic. Snowdon is a real jewel of the Welsh highlands.

Difficulty

There are many paths which lead to the Summit. For those with even the most modest fitness there are paths which make an ascent fairly accessible. For the aspiring mountaineer, the much revered Crib Goch makes for an unforgettable experience. And if you're looking for an even greater challenge, then perhaps the taking on the north face of Lliwedd is for you. No matter what your level of experience or fitness, Snowdon has something to suit all abilities.

Routes

The main walking paths up Snowdon include:

  • Llanberis Path - The easiest of all the paths
  • Miner's and/or Pyg Track - The shortest route, varied and interesting
  • Snowdon Ranger's Path - a nice easy warmup then a steady slog to the top
  • Rhyd Ddu Path - somewhat steep and exposed in places but away from the crowds
  • Watkin Path - The most strenuous of the walking paths but arguably the best

The route we take on the day will depend largely on group experience and weather conditions. If there is a particular route that you'd like to do then please mention this when booking.
