Indoor Rock Climbing Course
Climbing indoors is a fantastic way to quickly develop technique and confidence. With ropes already hanging from the ceiling, clips already fastened into the wall, and coloured climbing holds, it means that you can concentrate on the climbing movement without worrying about anything else. In addition to this, climbing indoors is usually safer are there are no ledges to hit if you fall, no falling rocks above you, and the clips are close together. This added safety and ability to focus on movement allows a climber to rapidly develop improved technique. With suitable guidance there is even further improvement.
For many climbers, climbing indoors is a wet weather or winter alternative to climbing outdoors, however, not only is climbing indoors excellent training, but the friendly and social nature of an indoor climbing wall are hard to come by outdoors. Not only this, but it's fun too!

Indoor Climbing Courses
Indoor Climbing Taster Session
A taster session is designed to give you the opportunity to try rock climbing and without any commitment. It is a short, usually only 1 to 2 hour, session which should enable you to gauge if climbing is for you. We won't look at skills or becoming proficient at this stage, instead we try to give you as much time on the climbing wall as possible.
Introduction to Climbing Indoors
The aim of the introduction to climbing indoors course is to develop proficiency. You will develop skills such as rope work and belaying and by the end of the course it is hoped that you will become an independent climber, able to climb indoors without supervision.
