Snowdon Horseshoe Guided Scramble
The Snowdon Horseshoe is one of the best days out scrambling to be had anywhere in the country.
The route journeys over four of the best scrambles in the area:
- East ridge of Crib Goch
- Main ridge of Crib Goch
- Crib Y Ddysgl
- Lliwedd Traverse
Whilst most of these scrambles are easy, the main ridge of Crib Goch is not to be underestimated. Before taking on the Snowdon Horseshoe, it is worth reading through our Guided Scramble of Crib Goch page.
In addition to the fantastic scrambling, the route also takes in the summit of Snowdon, the highest mountain in all of England and Wales.
This is an astonishing day out, a real gem of British mountaineering.
Difficulty
Grade 1 (Easy Scrambling). Easy scrambling, but the exposure on Crib Goch is not to be underestimated. A big day out which requires moderate fitness.
